 Summer Camp
Middle School High School Would you like your child to have fun this summer and learn something? Each week a creative writing camp will be held in Country Creek, Altamonte Springs, for children entering grades 6-8 or for high school students. Our camp will emphasize what is right, what is good, what works in the student's writing. This approach builds self-esteem, which opens the mind for learning, which results in better writing, which results in having fun. Class size is limited to ten. The camp counselor will give writing prompts to stimulate the children's imagination. By the end of the week, your child will have written and edited one or more stories. Parents are invited to an open house the Sunday evening after the workshop ends to hear the children read their stories aloud from a book produced during the camp. Sign up for one week or more if you'd like. First week begins June 2, 2008. Time is 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Cost per week = $150.
